This lecture is a humble attempt to reconsider the often perplexing and confusing book of Revelation as a source of hope for beleaguered and struggling people of faith.  It will consider the book's ancient context as well as our current moment to see how we might work to resist the pervasive inclination to fear and grow in our imaginative capacity to live lives of love and hope.
